Lucy Mazzucco is a writer and editor based in Toronto, Ont. She is currently the online editor for Canadian Architect, Canadian Interiors and Building magazines and a contributing editor for RetailStyle magazine. She also frequently contributes to magazines such as Salon and Today’s Bride.
Throughout her 10+ years of industry experience, she has been published in magazines such as NOW, Photographers Without Borders, Collision Repair, Automotive Recycling (ARA) and Canadian Auto Recyclers, various online publications, and two University of Toronto anthologies. Her editorial expertise has landed her roles such as the editor at large for RetailStyle, the official magazine for Toronto Market Week (formerly the MODE Show), and the digital editor for Elevate and Salon magazines. Over the last decade, she has interviewed television personalities from MTV, Much Music, ABC’s The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, MTV’s The Real World and Degrassi. She has also interviewed musicians and award-winning photographers including Mihaela Noroc, who was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey on Super Soul Sunday.
Lucy is a University of Toronto alumni with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a second major in Italian and post-graduate education in Business Writing from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge by taking courses at MagNet, Canada’s annual Magazine Conference, and various English literature courses through Harvard University’s online learning initiative, HarvardX.
